The Brave Lion

The storyline of this film begins when two Japanese prisoners are sent to manage
a Chinese labor camp during the Second World War. After the new Japanese
managers push the workers too far they begin to revolt.
Perhaps the most poignant theme in this film is the exemplification of the
strong anti-Japanese feeling among many Chinese films.
Numerous twists and turns in the film keep viewers rooted to their seats
included the fact that one of the bad guys in the beginning eventually becomes a
good guy later on during the film.
Unlike many other similar films, this film is not incoherent. Excellent editing
and direction as well as beautiful photography shots make this film a true
winner in addition to high action sequences. John Woo (dierctor) fans won't be
disappointed in the least.
